Position Information
Carlingford High School, (enrolment 1920 students, including 83% from a non-English speaking background) is a comprehensive, co-educational school, with a strong commitment to and expectation of excellence.
The delivery of quality literacy programs, the promotion of student well-being, and the ongoing development of high-quality teaching and learning programs are key strategic directions. Specific Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach ITX Technology Mandatory (Years 7-8), ITW Industrial Technology-Timber, willing to teach ENS Engineering St/Ind Tech-Engineering.
- Capacity to develop and deliver effective and engaging teaching programs and cater for the needs of students from non-English speaking backgrounds.
- Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team and willingness to contribute to whole school and faculty strategy and focus areas.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
