n About the Role
n As an Accountant (General), you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support business operations. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial reporting and assisting with budgeting, taxation, and auditing processes.
n Key Responsibilities
n - Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and budgets.
n - Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards (AAS) and taxation regulations.
n - Process financial transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
n - Assist in tax preparation, including BAS, GST, and corporate tax returns.




n - Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support business decision-making.
n - Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
n - Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
n - Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
n - Utilize accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks for financial management.
n Skills & Qualifications
n - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
n - CPA or CA qualification (or working towards certification) is highly desirable.
n - Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in Australia.
n - Solid knowledge of Australian taxation laws, financial regulations, and accounting standards.
n - Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar.
n - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
n - High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
n - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
