As a School Crossing Supervisor, you will play a vital role in keeping school-aged children, families, and pedestrians safe during busy morning and afternoon school times. This is a rewarding position where you'll become a familiar and trusted face in your local community.

Positions are available across the City of Monash, with placements offered as close to your home as possible based on operational requirements and availability.

About the role

n

n
- Assist children and pedestrians to safely cross the road during peak school hours
n
- Work outdoors and engage positively with the local community
n
- Morning shifts between 8:00am – 9:00am and/or afternoon shifts between 3:00pm – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday during school terms
n




- Opportunity to work at multiple locations within the council area when required
n

n

To be successful, you will

n

n
- Be friendly, reliable, community-minded, and confident communicating with people of all ages
n
- Be available for morning and/or afternoon shifts during school terms
n
- Hold, or be willing to obtain, a Working With Children Check
n
- Be flexible to work across different crossing locations if needed
n
- Be able to pass a Police Checkand Medical Clearance
n
