Full time Position | Growing Roof Restoration Business | Interstate Projects

We are seeking an experienced Elastomeric Membrane Applicator to join our growing team.

This is a specialist, hands‑on position involving the preparation and application of water-based elastomeric membrane systems to roofs and other surfaces.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake specialist membrane preparation and application work to a high standard and in accordance with manufacturer specifications, project requirements and workplace safety procedures.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

Preparing, cleaning and conditioning roof and other surfaces prior to membrane application

Applying water-based elastomeric membrane systems

Measuring, mixing and preparing membrane products in accordance with product specifications

Using appropriate application equipment and tools

Completing detailed preparation and finishing work

Working safely on roofs and at heights

Inspecting completed work to ensure required quality standards are achieved

Following manufacturer specifications, project requirements, SWMS and WHS procedures

Maintaining tools, equipment and work areas

Working outdoors in varying weather and site conditions

Working independently and as part of a team

Travelling interstate to project sites, including overnight stays where required

Meeting project schedules and maintaining a high standard of workmanship

Essential Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, applicants must be able to demonstrate:

Previous hands‑on experience applying water‑based elastomeric membrane systems

Practical knowledge of membrane preparation and application techniques

Experience working on roofs and at heights





Ability to safely undertake physically demanding roof restoration and membrane application work

Ability to operate relevant application equipment and hand tools

Ability to follow technical specifications, product instructions and workplace procedures

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Ability and willingness to travel interstate and undertake overnight stays when required

A current driver's licence

Specialist Experience

The position requires specific practical experience in elastomeric membrane application.

Experience in general painting, roof plumbing, construction or other building trades may be relevant to the broader construction environment but does not, by itself, demonstrate the specialist membrane application experience required for this position.

Water-based elastomeric membrane systems

Roof membrane preparation

Roof restoration projects

Working at heights

Working Conditions:

This is a full‑time, hands‑on position involving work outdoors, on roofs and at heights.

The role requires the successful applicant to safely perform the inherent physical requirements of roof preparation and membrane application, including standing, walking and working on roof surfaces, handling equipment and materials, and working in varying weather conditions.

Interstate travel and overnight stays will be required from time to time depending on project requirements.
