We are looking for an ambitious and passionate company operations manager to drive operational excellence across the company by building scalable processes, coordinating cross-functional activities, and ensuring day-to-day execution.

Your role

n

Reporting to the COO and working hand-in-hand with the founders, you'll be engaged across all aspects of Nomad Atomics to implement and maintain the operational infrastructure that enables rapid, sustainable growth.

Operations Execution

n

n
- Design and implement scalable operating cadences — weekly standups, OKR reviews, quarterly planning
n
- Translate strategic priorities set by the COO and founders into operational plans and track execution
n
- Monitor organizational performance metrics and surface insights to the COO and founders
n
- Own the KPI dashboard, ensuring leadership has real-time visibility into the metrics that matter
n
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements
n
- Develop and maintain internal workflows, playbooks, and operating standards
n
- Drive accountability for key initiatives and monitor progress against milestones
n




- Assist in preparing board packs, investor updates, all-hands presentations, company newsletters, synthesising complex information clearly and concisely
n

Legal and Risk Management

n

n
- Liaise with external legal counsel on commercial contracts, IP protection, and regulatory matters
n
- Maintain corporate governance records (board minutes, cap table, shareholder agreements)
n
- Ensure the company remains compliant with relevant regulations (e.g. export controls, insurance, HCES)
n

People Operations

n

n
- Own the end-to-end hiring operations process — coordinating recruiters, managing and interview pipelines
n
- Implement and iterate on onboarding programmes
n
- Manage HR administration including offer letters, employment contracts, equity documentation, and compliance with local employment law
n

Requirements

n

Your Skills

n

n
- 7+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or a related field — ideally including time at a high-growth startup or scale-up
n
- Demonstrated ability to build processes from scratch and iterate quickly in ambiguous, resource-constrained environments
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication — able to simplify the complex for diverse audiences, from engineers to investors
n
- Exceptional organisational skills and a track record of managing multiple high-priority workstreams simultaneously
n
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheets, financial modelling, and data visualisation tools
n
- Understanding of quality systems, manufacturing operations, or technology commercialization processes
n
- Ideally, experience in deep-tech, quantum, robotics, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, or other R&D-intensive; industries
