SALARY - $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, dependent on experience

My client is a leading manufacturer of precision-engineered products. They are looking for a Process & Quality Engineer to join their team in Adelaide on a permanent basis.

n

The Process & Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

n

n
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering or similar
n
- At least 2 years of experience in a Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Continuous Improvement or Quality Engineering position in a manufacturing environment
n
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and quality assurance processes
n
- Experience with root cause analysis techniques, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies
n
- Understanding of ISO 9001 and quality compliance requirements
n
- Experience developing and improving manufacturing processes and work instructions
n
- Able to analyse production data and identify process improvement opportunities
n
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
n
- Able to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines
n
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
n

n





The Process & Quality Engineer role will involve:

n

n
- Monitoring and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality and productivity
n
- Investigating quality issues and implementing corrective and preventative actions
n
- Conducting root cause analysis and driving continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Developing and maintaining process documentation, work instructions and quality procedures
n
- Supporting internal and external quality audits
n
- Ensuring products meet customer, regulatory and company quality standards
n
- Working closely with production, engineering and supply chain teams to resolve manufacturing issues
n
- Analysing production and quality performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
n
- Participating in recent product introduction activities and process validation
n
- Implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma improvement projects
n
- Supporting supplier quality activities and non-conformance investigations
n
- Driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the business
n
