Job Description

n
- Own and operate Azure infrastructure across all HDEcom Brands: VMs, App Services, Azure SQL, network, storage.
n
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for .NET services and Shopify integrations.
n
- Monitor platform health, respond to alerts, diagnose and fix issues during APAC hours.
n
- Push infrastructure-as-code adoption, improve DR posture, and tighten deployment automation.
n
- Manage Cloudflare configurations (DNS, WAF, caching, Page Rules) across the portfolio.
n

Incident Response & Operational Continuity

n

n
- Follow and improve existing SOPs documented in Confluence; apply them as first responder during APAC hours.
n
- Triage production incidents, restore service, elevate when needed, document root cause.
n
- Contact and coordinate with third‐party vendors (hosting partners, services contractors) directly.
n

Application & Database Support

n

n
- Monitor Azure SQL performance, investigate slow queries, manage index health, elevate complex issues.
n

n

Security & Compliance

n

n
- Execute patching cycles for OS and middleware.
n
- Participate in access reviews, identity management, and security hardening.
n
- Support SOX compliance activities for infrastructure controls and audit evidence.
n
- Work closely with the external development, QA, and DevOps team as you will share the most time‐zone overlap.
n
- Help with infrastructure requests, setting provisioning, and deployment support.
n
- Lead handover sessions so nothing falls through the cracks between shifts.
n

Required Experience & Skills

n

n
- 5–8 years in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering.
n




- Solid Windows Server and IIS administration skills.
n
- CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance (YAML pipelines, release gates, artifact management).
n
- Working knowledge of .NET / C# applications — enough to read logs, restart services, and triage errors.
n
- Familiarity with Cloudflare or similar CDN/edge platforms.
n
- Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring and alerting tools.
n
- Strong incident management skills: calm under pressure, methodical, thorough in documentation.
n
- Effective communicator; you'll work across several countries and time zones daily via MS Teams, Jira, and Confluence.
n

- Experience with Shopify or ecommerce platforms at an infrastructure level.
n
- Infrastructure‐as‐code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
n
- SOX or similar compliance frameworks in a technology context.
n
- Linux comfort (Ubuntu) for occasional CLI‐based tooling work.
n
- Interest in AI‐assisted operations and tooling.
n
