We offer a comprehensive range of specialist rehabilitation services for both public and private patients. Our team provides expert care for individuals with neurological conditions including stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and more. We also deliver orthopaedic rehabilitation, post-operative care, and general reconditioning. Services are available across both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring continuity of care and tailored support throughout the recovery journey.

About the role

Join our Private Inpatient Unit as a part-time Assistant in Nursing and make a real difference every shift! You’ll play a key role in delivering compassionate and holistic care to patients on an individualised basis in accordance with their goals and needs. If you strive for excellence in all you do,



want flexible hours and would like to work as part of our supportive rehabilitation team.

Key responsibilities include

- Providing holistic patient care within the inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Promoting the development of therapeutic relationships with the aim of facilitating the patient’s rehabilitation goals.
- Supporting the objectives and philosophy of the Nursing Service.
- Contributing to the person’s rehabilitation goals in accordance with the Mission Statement of Royal Rehab.

About you

We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual with:

Essential Criteria

- Suitable qualifications for the level of applicant – Certificate III in Nursing or Registered Nurse undergraduate.
- Suitable knowledge & experience in rehabilitation.
- Demonstrated digital, verbal and written clinical communication with effective interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
