Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator with extensive experience in Oracle Database Administration and proficiency in Xtreme Components Configuration. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in configuring Oracle XStream CDC Source connectors for the Confluent Platform, along with a good understanding of Apache Kafka. This role requires a detail oriented professional who can manage complex database environments and ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:
n
n
- Manage and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
n
- Configure and optimize Xtreme Components for effective database management.
n
- Implement and manage Oracle XStream CDC Source connectors for the Confluent Platform.
n
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
n
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business needs.
n
- Document database configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.
n
- Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices.
n
n
Mandatory Skills:
n
n
- Proficiency in Xtreme Components Configuration.
n
- Experience in Oracle XStream CDC Source connector for Confluent Platform Configuration.
n
- Strong expertise in Oracle Database Administration.
n
n
Preferred Skills:
n
n
- Good knowledge of Kafka and its integration with database systems.
n
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
n
- Familiarity with cloud database solutions and services.
n
n
Qualifications:
n
n
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
n
- 10 15 years of experience in database administration, with a focus on Oracle databases.
n
- Relevant certifications in Oracle Database Administration or related technologies are a plus.
