Working closely with an experienced Director, you will take on a genuinely senior position with immediate responsibility and ownership of matters. The role spans a broad range of work, including:
n
n
- Acquisition and sale of commercial, retail, industrial, and rural properties
n
- Commercial, retail, and industrial leasing
n
- Joint ventures and property development agreements
n
- Due diligence and strategic acquisition advice
n
- Revenue advice on transactionsCommercial agreements, structuring, and leasing arrangements
n
n
You will have direct client contact, manage relationships, and play a key role in mentoring and supporting junior lawyers.
n
Candidate Requirements
n
To succeed in this role, you will have:
n
n
- Experience in complex property, leasing, and development transactions
n
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to allocate risk in a commercially astute manner
n
- Excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills, with strong knowledge of the property industry and the ability to provide prompt, commercially focused advice
n
- Exceptional matter management skills, including scoping matters, managing fee estimates, and billing
n
- Strong commitment to client service and well-developed relationship management skills
n
- Ability and willingness to mentor, manage, and support junior colleagues.
