Flinders Aviation is looking for an organised and reliable Aviation Stores Person to join our growing team at Redcliffe Aerodrome.

This is a hands‑on role supporting our aircraft maintenance and paint operations, with responsibility for ensuring parts, materials, tooling and consumables are received, controlled, stored and issued correctly.

About the role

- Receiving and inspecting incoming aircraft parts, materials and consumables
- Checking purchase orders, delivery documentation and certification
- Maintaining accurate stock and inventory records
- Issuing parts and materials to aircraft projects
- Monitoring stock levels and organising replenishment of consumables
- Maintaining appropriate storage, identification and traceability of aviation parts and materials
- Monitoring shelf-life controlled products
- Organising freight, couriers and outgoing shipments
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient stores area
- Assisting with tooling control and registers
- Working closely with our engineering, paint and administration teams
- Supporting compliance with Flinders Aviation's quality and aviation requirements

About you

- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Reliable and able to take ownership of their area




- Comfortable working with computer-based inventory and record systems
- Able to work independently and prioritise tasks
- A good communicator and team player
- Practical and willing to help out where required
- Committed to maintaining accurate records and high standards

Previous experience in aviation stores, aircraft maintenance, warehousing, logistics or inventory control would be highly regarded, however we are also open to the right person with strong stores experience who is willing to learn the aviation requirements.

Experience with aviation parts documentation, traceability and controlled stores environments would be an advantage.
