Role Description

The SAP Finance Lead Solution Architect is a senior, client‑facing role responsible for defining, shaping, and leading SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions for Australian Federal Government clients. The role has a strong focus on presales leadership, S/4HANA Finance transformation strategy,



and trusted advisory engagement with senior public sector stakeholders.

Location: Canberra

Salary: AUD 192,845– 208,038 Annual Gross

Roles and Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement solutions.
- Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and provide technical support.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
- Prepare technical documentation and assist in knowledge transfer.
- Work closely with stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions within timelines.

Technical Expertise & Federal SAP Requirements

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to data analytics and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.

Essential

- Proficiency in technologies such as Java/.NET, SQL, and API integration.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in analyzing and documenting technical requirements.
- Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills.




- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
