Sustainable Packaging Tasmania Pty Ltd trades as Compak Tassie. We source and distribute a large range of packaging and back of house supplies for the hospitality industry including things like coffee cups, takeaway containers, napkins, washroom supplies and cleaning chemicals.

Customer orders are fulfilled and delivered within 24hours by our dedicated team.

About the Role

n

We are seeking a motivated and reliable van driver with good communication and time management skills. The person will be delivering orders to customers across the Hobart district and surrounds, Monday to Friday.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Deliver customer orders in a safe and efficient manner
n
- Van loading
n
- Assist with planning and adhering to daily delivery routes and schedules
n
- Provide exceptional customer communication on delivery and returns
n
- As part of a small team, it is expected that you would also perform general warehouse duties when required
n




- Ensuring all manual handling tasks are completed safely and correctly
n

About You

n
- Secure and reliable driver
n
- Physically fit and capable of performing the role
n
- Well presented
n
- Strong attention to detail
n
- Can work independently and as part of a team
n
- Ability to navigate and calmly resolve any daily operational issues
n
- A good communicator with team members and customers
n
- Adaptable
n
- Have full working rights in Australia
n

Qualifications & Experience

n
- Current driver's license and safe driving record
n
- Experience in van deliveries to small businesses
n
- Other highly regarded experiences would include

n
- Forklift and or truck licenses
n
- First aid and or safety qualifications
n
- Exposure to packaging and the hospitality industry.
