Diagnostic Technician – Northampton

Basic Salary: up to £37,000. OTE: up to £43,000 (Uncapped). Monday to Friday schedule, Saturday mornings on rota paid as overtime.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
n
- Perform advanced repairs and maintenance on vehicles/equipment to manufacturer and safety standards
n
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to resolve issues accurately
n




- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, meeting productivity and turnaround targets
n
- Carry out servicing & repairs to manufacturer standards
n
- Cambelt, clutch, gearbox & engine repairs/replacements
n
- Electrical & mechanical diagnostics
n
- Warranty repairs
n
- Recent Car PDI's and used car multi‐point checks
n
- Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards if qualified
n

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

n

n
- Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
n
- Manufacturer Accredited Diagnostic Technician qualification
n
- Minimum 2 years Diagnostic Technician experience
n
- Full and Clean UK Driving Licence
n
- Own tools
n
- Desirable: EV/Hybrid Accreditation
n
- Desirable: MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7)
n

Working Hours

n

Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm. Saturday mornings on a rota paid as overtime.
