We are currently seeking a Full‐Time Registered Nurse to join our friendly team. This chance will allow you to demonstrate your clinical skills within an organisation that values collaborative teamwork in a family‐focused workplace to provide the best care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Assess, coordinate and monitor the individual needs and the provision of appropriate care to meet individual requirements of all residents.
n
- Provide timely nursing interventions to ensure that the optimum level of health status is achieved by all residents.
n
- Make appropriate referral of particular aspects of needs to senior staff or seek assistance with more complex assessments.
n
- Contribute to the development of individual care plans in consultation with residents, relatives and other support staff.
n
- Respect the rights of each resident to make informed choices about their health care requirements and residency.
n




- Maintain appropriate clinical records in accordance with legislative requirements and the policies of the Facility.
n
- Ensure that all practices and utilisation of goods and equipment is consistent with safety requirements.
n
- Work in accordance with the Code of Ethics for Nurses and regulations as required by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Current AHPRA Nursing registration
n
- Ability to lead a team on shift
n
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently and professionally
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
- Current NDIS Clearance
n
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
n
- Demonstrated genuine desire to provision of care to frail and aged people
n
- Experience working in Geriatric Care and/or Residential Aged Care is desirable.
n
- Knowledge and understanding of AN‐ACC will be highly regarded.
n
- Ability to effectively communicate in written and oral English.
n
