Organisational Development Business Partner Local Government | 7-Month Contract
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Organisational Development Business Partner to join a collaborative People & Culture team within a large Local Government organisation.
This role will provide strategic and operational support across learning and organisational development initiatives, partnering with leaders and stakeholders to design, deliver and evaluate programs that build organisational capability, performance and culture.
Working closely with the Organisational Development team, you will contribute to a broad range of initiatives spanning leadership development, employee engagement, talent management, performance improvement and capability uplift.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders and stakeholders to identify organisational development and learning needs.
- Design, develop and facilitate learning programs, workshops and leadership development initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of organisational development projects and learning solutions.
- Research and apply contemporary learning and organisational development practices.
- Support initiatives across leadership development, talent management, succession planning, performance management and culture change.
- Utilise workforce insights and data to support future capability and workforce planning.
- Develop and maintain learning resources, tools and frameworks for employees and leaders.
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness and impact of learning and organisational development programs.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in Organisational Development, Learning & Development or a related People & Culture function.
- Strong workshop design, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience designing and delivering capability-building and leadership development programs.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and contemporary learning methodologies.
- The ability to consult, influence and build credibility with leaders at all levels.
- Strong written communication skills with experience creating engaging learning content and resources.
- Experience working across multiple projects and stakeholder groups in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to learning management systems and digital learning tools, with Articulate highly regarded.
