Steel Window Design is Australia's leading steel window and door manufacturer, located in Preston, Melbourne. Our steel fabricator roles are fundamental to our ongoing success, and you will be joining a friendly, hardworking team who are passionate about delivering a quality product and service to our clients.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Custom fabrication of windows and doors with focus on quality and precision. All pieces are custom made to measure; no two pieces are the same
n
- The use of Oxy for straightening complex lock boxes and other shapes
n
- Rolling steel for arch shaped windows, doors and mirrors
n
- Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) for laser cutting
n
- Product design and development with onsite drafting team
n

Qualifications and Skills

n

n
- Experience in metal fabrication
n
- TIG welding
n
- MIG welding
n

n

- Ability to pick things up quickly
n
- Attention to detail with a focus on time management
n
- Comfortable taking direction from management while also having the ability to work autonomously
n
- The ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
n
- Punctual and reliable, possessing a strong work ethic

Hours

n

Hours of operation are Monday to Friday: 8am to 4.00pm

During busy periods, the option to work and be paid overtime on weekdays or weekends may be available.
