About you
To succeed in this role, you’ll be highly motivated, commercially savvy and committed to building a long-term career in construction. You’ll have excellent communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships and the drive to support your project team with a high standard of commercial and contractual support.
You will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Construction Management or a related discipline
- 2+ years’ end-to-end project delivery experience as a Contracts Administrator or Project Administrator with a commercial head contractor in Queensland
- Exposure to multi-million-dollar projects across commercial, industrial or aged care sectors
- Proficiency with Procore and Jobpac favoured
What’s You’ll Be Doing
Working alongside experienced Project Managers and as a key member of the project team, you’ll gain exposure to all commercial aspects of construction, including:
- Preparing and submitting variation orders, contractual notices, progress claims and reports
- Supporting project cost management, budgeting and forecasting
- Administering project documentation in accordance with Head Contract requirements
- Coordinating RFIs and liaising with Site Managers, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
- Negotiating subcontract packages, trade scopes and administration
- Maintaining document control for drawings, specifications and reporting
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
You’ll be supported and encouraged to take on increasing responsibility as your capability grows, with direct mentoring from senior leaders.
