Inter Industrial Services is seeking a Guillotine Operator to work with our client, a leading printing business on a casual basis. This is a hands-on operational role based in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

- Operating a guillotine to cut finished commercial print work
- Be able to confidently set programs, change blades and capable of cutting all types of print work
- Work within a team of bindery operators and assistants
- Follow job bag instructions and direction from the Production Manager
- Capable of working independently

What we're looking for

- Proven experience operating a Polar and / or Ito guillotine from within the print industry
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work on day shift
- A solid understanding of health and safety procedures, particularly regarding machinery operation
- Ability to read and interpret job bags
- Reliability and punctuality
