Our client, a leading food manufacturing and distribution business, is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse All-Rounder to join their warehouse team in Dandenong South.
n
This is an ongoing opportunity offering full-time hours, stable employment and the potential to secure a permanent position after approximately six months.
n
About the Role
n
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of forklift operation and warehouse duties. You'll be working in a chilled setting and should be comfortable stepping off the forklift to assist with various warehouse tasks throughout the day.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Operating High Reach forklifts safely and efficiently
n
- Operating Double Deep forklifts
n
- Picking and packing orders
n
- RF scanning and inventory transactions
n
- Loading, unloading and stock replenishment
n
- Accurately recording pallet IDs, batch numbers and stock movements
n
- Using warehouse management systems and computer-based inventory systems
n
- General warehouse duties and housekeeping
n
- Following site safety, quality and compliance procedures
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
- Current LF Forklift Licence
n
- Proven High Reach forklift experience
n
- Double Deep forklift experience is essential
n
- Previous warehouse and distribution experience
n
- RF scanning experience
n
- Strong computer skills and confidence using warehouse systems
n
- Ability to work in a chilled environment
n
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
n
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
n
