TRS Resourcing is partnering with a leading Australian manufacturer of premium aluminium truck bodies, trays, and trailers. Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Aluminium Welder to join a modern workshop producing custom-built equipment for the transport, mining, civil, and agricultural industries.
If you're a skilled welder who takes pride in precision workmanship and enjoys building quality products that stand the test of time, we'd like to hear from you.
- Fabricate and MIG weld heavy-duty aluminium truck bodies, trays, and trailers
- Build custom and production units from detailed engineering drawings
- Work with heavy-gauge aluminium and structural steel components
- Assemble structural frames, chassis, and fabricated assemblies
- Maintain exceptional quality standards and workshop safety
- Join a supportive team with consistent, long-term work and overtime available
What You'll Bring
- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker, Fabricator, or Welder
- Proven experience MIG welding structural aluminium
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and workshop drawings
- Experience fabricating heavy-gauge aluminium components
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full Australian working rights
Highly Regarded
- Truck body or trailer manufacturing experience
- Experience working with fabrication jigs and welding fixtures
- Background building custom transport equipment
