Casual Food Services Assistant

Are you a passionate hospitality skilled who thrives on delivering exceptional food service and creating positive patient experiences? We are looking for an assistant on a casual basis covering weekend shifts and occasional weekday work. You will collaborate within a dynamic team to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.

Key responsibilities

n

- Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays.
n
- Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly.
n
- Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital and industry food safety and hygiene standards.
n

Essential criteria

n

n
- Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (or willingness to attain).
n
- Experience in healthcare food services.
n
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
n
- Demonstrated ability to work without supervision and as part of a team.
n
- Excellent time‐management skills.
n
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
n
- COVID vaccination certificate.
n
- Working with Children Check required.
n
- Current Police Check.
n
