The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Intermediate Accountant looking to take the next step in your public practice career?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, 70-person multidisciplinary accounting and wealth advisory firm where you’ll gain exposure to quality clients, business advisory and more complex accounting work.

You’ll work alongside experienced accountants, managers and advisors in a collaborative environment, developing your technical skills while building strong client relationships.

About the Firm This well-established firm has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality accounting, tax, business advisory and wealth services to a diverse client base.

Their clients include TV personalities, well-known sporting professionals, large medical groups, construction companies, hospitality groups and agribusinesses, providing excellent exposure to a variety of industries and business structures.

With accounting fees ranging from $20,000 to $200,000, you’ll have the opportunity to work with interesting and high-value clients while continuing to develop your career.

The Role As an Intermediate Accountant - Tax & Business Advisory, you’ll work across a combination of compliance and advisory services, with the opportunity to progressively take on more responsibility as your experience develops.





Your responsibilities will include

- Preparing financial statements, tax returns and management reports for a diverse client portfolio
- Assisting with tax planning and business advisory engagements
- Working with clients across a range of industries and business structures
- Assisting with more complex tax and accounting matters
- Building strong relationships with clients and becoming a trusted point of contact
- Working closely with Managers and Directors on client engagements
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members as your experience develops
- Identifying opportunities to improve clients’ financial and business outcomes

About You We’re looking for an Accountant who is ready to take the next step in their public practice career.

Ideally, you will have:

- 3+ years’ experience in Australian public practice
- CA or CPA qualification, or currently working towards your qualification
- Strong experience across tax and business services
- Good knowledge of Australian tax legislation
- Strong attention to detail and a commercial mindset
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- A genuine interest in developing your advisory capabilities
- The ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team
