Ringwood City Motors, is looking for an enthusiastic Used Car Sales Consultant to join our busy pre-owned vehicle department. Operating out of our Used Vehicle Showroom along the high-volume Maroondah Highway automotive corridor, you will be selling a diverse mix of multi-brand used vehicle stock along with high-quality Certified Pre-Owned Volkswagens.

This is a fast-paced role ideal for an energetic individual who thrives on building customer rapport and loves seeing their hard work translate directly into big commission structures.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Drive Showroom Volume: Manage and convert pre-owned vehicle enquiries arriving via phone, digital leads (Car Sales, website), and walk-in yard traffic.
n
- Vehicle Demonstrations: Conduct premium presentations and test drives across our entire used and Certified Pre-Owned stock.
n
- Deal Negotiation: Handle customer trade-in appraisals, overcome buyer objections, and successfully close vehicle sales contracts.
n
- Finance Support: Partner with our in-house Business Managers to present competitive finance, insurance,



and aftermarket care packages.

Skills and Experience Required

n

n
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in automotive dealership sales (Used vehicle experience is highly regarded).
n
- Proactive attitude with a demonstrated history of achieving or smashing monthly sales targets.
n
- Outstanding communication skills and a natural ability to connect with everyday car buyers.
n
- Experience utilizing contemporary dealership CRM software (ERA) and stock inventory management tools.
n
- High level of attention to detail when drafting contracts of sale and trade-in documentation.
n
- A current, valid Victorian Driver's License (Manual & Automatic preferred). [1]
