n The Opportunity:
n Reporting directly to the Director of Clinical Services, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across the Perioperative Services Division, including:

- Operating Theatres
n
- Anaesthetics
n
- Recovery/PACU
n
- CSSD (where applicable)
n
- Specialty Surgical Services
n
n
You will be responsible for driving clinical, operational and financial performance while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and patient-centred care. This role requires a visible and influential leader capable of balancing strategic objectives with operational delivery in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership

- Lead and execute the strategic direction of perioperative services
n
- Support the hospital's growth, surgical expansion and service development initiatives
n
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across perioperative services
n

People Leadership
n

- Lead, mentor and develop a large multidisciplinary workforce
n
- Build a high-performance culture focused on engagement and accountability
n
- Support talent development, succession planning and workforce capability
n
n
Operational Management
n
n
- Oversee theatre utilisation, efficiency and patient flow
n
- Manage budgets, workforce planning and resource allocation
n
- Ensure compliance with accreditation, quality and clinical governance standards
n

Clinical Excellence
n
n
- Champion patient safety and quality outcomes
n
- Promote evidence-based practice and continuous improvement
n
- Drive key performance indicators across productivity, quality and patient experience
n

About You We are seeking an accomplished healthcare leader who brings:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Extensive perioperative leadership experience within a hospital setting
n
- Experience managing large theatre departments and multidisciplinary teams
n
- Strong financial, operational and workforce management capabilities
n
- Demonstrated success driving service improvement and organisational performance
n
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on leadership capability
n
- Postgraduate qualifications in Health Management, Nursing Leadership, Business or a related field will be highly regarded.
