Duties:
n
You'll carry out a variety of formwork and general carpentry tasks across different project types — no two sites are the same!
n
n
- Steel and timber framing
n
- Formwork and concreting for slabs, footings, and walls
n
- Installation of cladding, flooring, and structural elements
n
- Commercial and residential fit-outs
n
- Maintenance and defect work
n
n
You'll also:
n
n
- Work with steel, concrete, and timber
n
- Read and interpret plans and drawings
n
- Operate tools and equipment safely
n
- Follow all site safety procedures
n
- Work effectively in a team and adapt to changing site environments
n
n
What We're Looking For:
n
n
- Experienced Carpenters (formwork experience an advantage but not essential)
n
- Safety-focused and detail-oriented
n
- Motivated with a strong work ethic
n
- Professional and team-oriented
n
- Capable of working unsupervised when required
n
- Eager to grow and progress your career
n
- Trade Qualification in Carpentry
n
- Construction White Card (or ability to obtain)
n
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport (travel across Toowoomba and SEQ as required)
n
n

- Health & Fitness Subsidy: $250 per year (toward gym, activewear, saunas, fishing gear, etc.)

- Birthday Leave: 1 paid day off in addition to 4 weeks' annual leave and 10 days' sick leave
n
- Banked Hours: Any hours worked beyond 38 in a week may be banked to take as paid leave or paid out later
n
- Paid Travel Time: For work on sites more than 40km from your base McNab office
n
