The Finance Operations Analyst is part of a small team and is responsible for maintaining the integrity of Export Finance Australia's end‐to‐end trade servicing function. This includes ensuring efficient processing within established guidelines and maintaining systems and records to support accurate and consistent data flow.

About You
n
n
- Process, verify, and settle transactions including Loans, Guarantees and Bonds
n
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all transactions are executed in accordance with regulatory, compliance, and internal policy requirements.
n
- Operate within the Temenos Transact (T24) platform to input, update, and reconcile trade transactions.
n
- Monitor transaction lifecycles and ensure timely handling of maturities, rollovers, and payments.
n
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., front office, compliance, treasury) to resolve discrepancies or processing issues.
n
- Support reconciliation, exception handling, and operational reporting for trade products.
n
- Ensure proper documentation and archiving of all processed transactions.
n
- Assist in system testing, upgrades, or configuration changes related to trade modules in Temenos.
n

Experience, Skills & Qualifications
n
n
- 2–5 years of experience in trade operations or trade finance back‐office roles within a bank or financial institution
n
- Strong knowledge of financial products
n
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive approach to anticipating potential issues
n
- Strong interpersonal and liaison skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees and internal customers at all levels
n
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
n
