We are seeking qualified Printers with medium format lithographic experience or anyone who is currently doing a printing apprenticeship, to join our rapidly expanding team for our Opal Cartons Australia site in Regency Park, SA. These roles will be on a rotating day and afternoon shift with a 9 day fortnight.

n

The key focus for these roles will be to produce printed carton products on the KBA and Mitsubishi machines by undertaking a range of tasks for the set-up, production run and shut down sequences of the lithographic and flexo-printing operations.

Responsibilities

- Setting up the lithographic printing machinery
n
- Undertaking quality checking and process adjustment
n
- Supporting in the development of Printing apprentices
n




- Maintaining production processes and ensuring continuity and efficiency
n
- Ensuring production shut down and clean up
n

Qualifications

n

n
- A relevant trade qualification in printing or currently undergoing a printing apprenticeship
n
- Experience with multicolour medium format offset printing preferred
n
- Experience with conventional and UV coating
n
- The ability to interpret printing job requirements
n
- Well-developed technical and interpersonal skills
n
