An ASX listed Australian financial services group is standing up a new Fabric data platform and seeking a Data Engineer to build it. You will owns the data lake, warehouse and pipeline architecture the business runs its decisions on, with real scope to shape how it is built.

- Microsoft Fabric and Power BI platform being built from the ground up
n
- Migrating off Snowflake and Tableau
n
- Terraform and Kubernetes across the broader engineering workplace
n
- AI enabled engineering is a genuine daily practice; it needs to be part of your workflow
n
- Direct ownership of the group's core decisioning data ecosystem

What You'll Be Doing

n

- Building and maintaining the data lake, warehouse and pipeline architecture
n
- Ingesting, curating and standardising internal and third party data
n
- Implementing governance frameworks including versioning and audit trails
n
- Partnering directly with stakeholders across the business on their data needs
n
- Piloting new data driven capability as the platform matures
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Experience building and owning data pipelines end to end -Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
n
- Exposure to Snowflake and Tableau desirable
n
- Demonstrable use of AI tools as part of your engineering workflow
n
- Comfort operating independently with non technical stakeholders
n
- Terraform and Kubernetes experience preferred
n
- Experience in financial services or another regulated industry is an advantage
n
