They are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to support a strategically important water infrastructure project.

The Opportunity
n
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Procurement Specialist to commence in the new year and play a pivotal role in a significant initiative. Offered as a fixed-term contract through to June 2026 (initially 3–6 months), the role will focus on structuring and facilitating procurement processes on behalf of a local council.
n
You'll be responsible for shaping the market engagement strategy, driving procurement activities, and ensuring compliance with council frameworks. A key part of the role will involve supporting the procurement of Business Case documentation via VendorPanel, working closely with stakeholders to deliver outcomes that align with project objectives.
n

About You
n
You're a self-sufficient and motivated procurement specialist with a proven track record in large-scale infrastructure projects. You understand the nuances of local council procurement and have the confidence to structure, approach, and facilitate complex processes. You'll also bring:

- Demonstrated procurement experience, with exposure to government or council environments
n
- Strong knowledge of VendorPanel and procurement of Business Case documentation
n
- Experience managing projects upwards of $250M in value
n
- Ability to structure and approach the market with clarity and confidence
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to drive outcomes collaboratively
n
- Flexibility and independence to deliver results without close supervision
n
