About The Role
n
As a member of the Calvary Home Care team and as an experienced RN, you will provide care to high acuity clients from various short term/long terms programs. You will provide complex care to all clients by working both independently and as part of a team. Some of our perks include but are limited to are, AM/PM shifts, part time and full time work, salary sacrifice and ongoing education/Training.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Administration of IV, IM, SC and PO medications
n
- IV Cannulation, PICC line and Infusaport care
n
- Simple and Complex wound care including compression and NPWT
n
- Drain care
n
- Male, Female and Supra Pubic Catheter Care and Education
n
- Accurate/Timely documentation in all client records.
n
- Appropriate communication within the clinical team to ensure appropriate care is provided.
n
- Complete initial assessments/develop care plans to ensure best outcome for our clients.
n
- Monitor and update care plans to ensure appropriate care is provided
n
- Deliver education to client and families to enable best possible outcome.
n
- Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration, with appropriate escalation.
n
n
What You Bring
n
n
- Current AHPRA Nursing
n
- Minimum 1 year acute experience
n
- NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
n
- Police Clearance within 6 months (or willingness to obtain one)
n
- Use of own car – KM allowance provided
n
- Full drivers licence, reliable and comprehensively insured car
n
- CPR and Manual handling competency
n
- Candidates with an understanding of the community nursing sector - Home Care Packages, Department of Veteran Affairs and Commonwealth Home Support Program will be considered favourably
n
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
