Responsibilities

n

n
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data migration activities.
n
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and migration teams to understand migration requirements and data mapping.
n
- Perform detailed validation of data migrated from Data Bricks to Data Fabric, ensuring alignment with D365 ERP requirements.
n
- Conduct data reconciliation between source and target systems, verifying record counts, data quality, and transformation logic.
n
- Identify, document, and track data migration defects; work with relevant teams to resolve issues.
n
- Participate in root cause analysis for data discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
n
- Test Execution: Execute manual and automated tests for data migration cycles, including dry runs, mock migrations, and final cutover.
n
- Validate data integrity, completeness, and consistency post-migration.
n
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed test reports, defect logs, and status updates for stakeholders.
n
- Document test results and provide recommendations for process improvements.
n
- Work closely with migration, development, and business teams to ensure successful migration and testing outcomes.
n




- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide guidance on data-related test scenarios.
n

Required Skills & Experience

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
n
- Atleast 3+ years of experience in data migration testing, preferably in ERP transformation projects.
n
- Robust understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP modules and data structures.
n
- Hands-on experience with Data Bricks and Data Fabric platforms.
n
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation, reconciliation, and analysis.
n
- Experience with ETL processes, data mapping, and transformation logic.
n
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM).
n
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Experience with cloud-based data migration (Azure, AWS, etc.).
n
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance requirements.
n
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
n
- Prior experience in large-scale ERP transformation projects.
n
