Job Description:

n

n
- We are looking for an experienced Dynatrace SaaS and ELK Engineer to support observability and performance monitoring for our cloud-native applications running on AWS.
n
- You will be responsible for the end-to-end setup and optimization of monitoring and logging frameworks using Dynatrace SaaS and the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), with a strong focus on AWS services, infrastructure, and serverless applications
n

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Deploy and configure Dynatrace OneAgents and ActiveGates across AWS EC2, ECS, EKS, and Lambda environments.
n
- Set up RUM, synthetic monitoring, and Davis AI to proactively detect performance issues.
n
- Build service-centric dashboards and alerting rules aligned with business KPIs and SLAs.
n
- Integrate Dynatrace with AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and incident/alerting platforms (ServiceNow, PagerDuty, etc.).
n
- Design and implement centralized logging pipelines using Logstash, Beats, and FluentBit for AWS logs.
n
- Manage Elasticsearch clusters for performance, indexing strategies, and retention policies.
n
- Create meaningful Kibana dashboards and alerts for application and infrastructure logs.
n
- Correlate log and APM data to assist in root cause analysis and proactive monitoring.
n

AWS-Focused Monitoring Operations:

n

n
- Work closely with cloud engineering teams to embed observability in CI/CD pipelines.
n
- Implement tagging standards and custom metadata strategies to enhance traceability.
n
- Tune and optimize monitoring for cost efficiency and noise reduction in dynamic AWS environments.
n

n

Required Skills:

n

n
- Hands-on experience with Dynatrace SaaS, especially in cloud-native and AWS integrations.
n




- Deep knowledge of ELK stack (Elastic 7.x or 8.x) and best practices for logging in AWS.
n
- Solid experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, etc.).
n
- Strong skills in Bash/Python/PowerShell scripting for automation and data transformation.
n
- Experience working in DevOps/Agile delivery environments.
n
- Understanding of microservices and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
n

n

Nice to Have:

n

n
- Dynatrace certifications (Associate, Professional).
n
- Experience with Terraform or AWS CDK for infrastructure automation.
n
- Familiarity with other observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, New Relic.
n

n
