The Emergency Department at Mackay Base Hospital is seeking Staff Specialists to join their team on a Permanent full-time/part-time or Temporary full-time/part time basis. This is a regional, high-volume ED serving approximately 50,000 presentations per year.
Assist the Director in the provision of high-quality clinical services, participate in patient safety, audit, research and service planning, and supervise junior medical staff when rostered as the duty Senior Medical Officer.
