Investment Director | Mid-Market Growth Fund

A highly active Australian Growth Equity fund is hiring an Investment Director to lead origination and execution across a flexible mandate spanning both minority and majority investments. The fund is well capitalised and actively deploying into mid‐market opportunities across a broad range of sectors. As a result of their current pipeline and growth plans, they are looking to bring in an experienced private equity investor.

Responsibilities

- Lead origination and build a high‐quality proprietary deal pipeline
n
- Own end‐to‐end transaction execution across commercial, financial, and legal workstreams
n
- Build deep relationships with founders, CEOs, bankers, and advisors
n
- Drive value creation and portfolio oversight post‐investment, including board representation
n




- Play a key role in firm‐building and developing junior talent
n

Ideal Profile

- 5‐15+ years in private equity, principal investing, or growth capital essential
n
- Solid transaction track record, ideally within the mid‐market
n
- Deal instincts and origination capability, not just execution
n
- Confident representing the fund in market and building trusted founder relationships
