n Job Description
n As Medical Emergency Service Officer (MESO), you will be responsible for:

n

n
- Delivering medical and emergency response within your clinical scope and ERT competencies.
n
- Maintaining ERT and clinical practice standards under site and provider guidelines.
n
- Supporting Coal Board Medicals: tracking, follow-up, managing access, and liaising with NMA's and SAC.
n
- Managing injuries: assessing presentations, coordinating care, liaising with stakeholders, and developing return-to-work plans.
n
- Monitoring medication declarations and TMP letters.
n
- Assisting with patient care and precautionary duties.
n
- Supporting hygiene testing (hearing, respiratory).
n
- Participating in field leadership, safety meetings, and Teams calls.
n
- Maintaining medical equipment and consumables, ensuring servicing and compliance.
n




- Supporting site health programs (flu vax, skin checks, physio, hydration testing).
n
- Assisting SAC operations and coverage as needed.
n

Qualifications To succeed, you will need:nn
- Current Rescue Boar Board Medical license without restrictions.
n
- Light and Heavy Rigid Site Licence and current relevant State Driver's License.
n
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Paramedic or Registered Nurse – without restrictions.
n
- Current Scope of Practice issued by Stanmore's contracted Clinical Governance provider.
n
- Tertiary Paramedicine or Nursing Qualifications.
n
- Compliance with signed Confidentiality Statement.
n
- Maintain qualification for Drug and Alcohol Testing.
n
- Certificate III Emergency Response and Rescue.
n
- At least 5 years of Emergency Response and medical experience, preferably on a QLD Coal Mining Site.
