Responsibilities
n

- Deliver high-quality care to paediatric and neonatal patients
n
- Participate in on-call roster, providing acute and emergency support
n
- Lead and mentor junior doctors and contribute to their career development
n
- Support service improvement, governance, and clinical innovation
n
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across the region
n
- Provide outreach clinics to surrounding regional and remote communities
n
- Uphold culturally safe, equitable care for Aboriginal children and families
n
n
About You
n
n
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Paediatrics, or equivalent
n
- AHPRA Specialist Registration (or eligibility to obtain)
n
- Strong expertise in acute and chronic paediatric medicine
n
- Experience and interest in neonatal care, developmental paediatrics, and community health
n
- A supportive leadership style with a passion for teaching, supervising and mentoring junior doctors
n
- Resilience, adaptability,
and confidence in managing complex or remote-care scenarios
n
- A commitment to improving health outcomes for First Nations children
n
- Enthusiasm for regional practice and the lifestyle benefits it offers
