An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Head of Quality Assurance and Compliance to lead quality, regulatory compliance, governance and continuous improvement initiatives within a well-established higher education and vocational education provider.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the organisation meets its obligations across key regulatory frameworks while driving a culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement.

Your new role

n

As the Head of Quality Assurance and Compliance, you will lead the development, implementation and oversight of quality and compliance frameworks across the organisation.

n

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure regulatory obligations are met while identifying opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness and educational quality.

n

- Lead and oversee organisational compliance with relevant higher education and vocational education regulatory frameworks.
n
- Manage internal and external audits, reviews and regulatory assessments.
n
- Provide expert advice to executive leadership and governance committees on compliance,



quality and risk matters.
n
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through benchmarking, quality reviews and best practice recommendations.
n
- Oversee regulatory reporting and ensure the timely submission of compliance documentation.
n
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and ensure organisational readiness and alignment.
n
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across academic, operational and leadership teams to foster a culture of quality and accountability.

What you'll need to succeed

n

To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong background in quality assurance, governance and regulatory compliance within the Australian education sector.

n

You will demonstrate:

n

n
- Extensive knowledge of higher education and/or vocational education regulatory frameworks.
n
- Proven leadership experience managing quality assurance and compliance functions.
n
- Experience leading audits, reviews and continuous improvement programs.
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with the ability to work across all levels of an organisation.
n
- Excellent analytical, reporting and communication capabilities.
n
- Experience with government reporting requirements and education sector regulatory systems.
n

n

Relevant tertiary qualifications, with postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded.
