Green Time Electrics is an electrical contracting business based in Melbourne's west, with over a decade of experience delivering large scale construction projects across Melbourne. We specialise in the education and community sectors including schools, community centres and sports pavilions, while also servicing residential, industrial and aged care developments. Our services span general power and lighting, exit and emergency lighting, mains and power upgrades, switchboard installations, and data and communications.
About the role
We're looking for 2 motivated individuals ready to start their full time electrical apprenticeship immediately. You'll work across a mix of projects throughout Melbourne. Most of our work is based in the western and northern suburbs, though you'll need to be willing to travel across Melbourne as required.
Because we run our projects from the ground up, underground mains right through to energisation, you won't just get one slice of the job. Over your apprenticeship you'll build genuine all-round experience across:
- Underground works and mains connections
- Rough in through to fit off of power and lighting
- Testing and commissioning
- Variety of sites, from large scale builds like schools and sports pavilions to residential projects

- Supervision and mentoring from experienced A Grade Electricians
About you
- Completed Year 12
- Ideally completed a Pre-Apprenticeship Course (Certificate II in Electrotechnology)
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Working with Children Check (required upon commencement)
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Enjoys learning both on the job and in the classroom
- Punctual, reliable and motivated
- Great time management, including the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
