That’s where you come in.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Fleet Controller is a key operational role where you’ll be responsible for keeping our fleet moving safely, efficiently and on schedule. You’ll work closely with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders to ensure day-to-day transport operations run smoothly, and service commitments are met.

Based at our Allansford depot, you'll manage customer bookings, optimise equipment utilisation, coordinate loading and unloading activities, and ensure effective communication between drivers, customers and internal teams. You'll also support compliance, reporting and administration requirements, including driver run sheets, vehicle documentation and maintenance records, while helping maintain a safe and efficient operation.

What You’ll Need:

- Strong transport background with 2+ years' fleet allocation & scheduling experience
- Sound knowledge ofNHVR laws and compliance requirements
- A strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated positive safety leadership and safety-first mindset
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Qualified communication skills when dealing with customers and drivers
- Flexibility with varying start times
- Any form of Truck Licence (advantage)
