Key Responsibilities

- Handle cash, credit card, EFTPOS, and digital payments accurately

- Process patient billing and generate invoices

- Support hospital revenue collection and financial reconciliation
n
- Maintain daily transaction records and reports

- Reconcile cash drawers at the end of shifts
n
- Coordinate with accounting and finance departments
n
- Assist patients with billing inquiries in a professional manner

- Ensure compliance with Australian financial and healthcare regulations

- Maintain confidentiality of financial and patient information

Requirements

- Previous experience as Cashier or Accounts Assistant
n
- Experience in hospital, healthcare, or medical billing environment preferred

- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail

- Knowledge of POS systems and billing software
n
- Good customer service and communication skills
n
- Ability to handle high-volume transactions
n
- Understanding of financial procedures and reconciliationImmediate availability preferred
