Working on a 2/2 FIFO roster, you will be responsible for secure and efficient explosives handling and charging activities across underground development and production headings.

Responsibilities
n
n
- Carry out charging of development and production rounds in line with mine plans
n
- Safely handle, transport, and store explosives in accordance with site and legislative requirements
n
- Conduct pre‐ and post‐charge inspections to ensure compliance and safety
n
- Work closely with Supervisors, Jumbo Operators, and Underground crews
n
- Maintain accurate blast records and documentation
n
- Identify and report hazards, risks, and non‐compliance issues
n
- Contribute to a strong safety‐first culture underground
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
- Current UHL (Underground Hard Rock Licence)
n
- Current BUEL (NSW Shotfirer Ticket) – Essential
n
- Proven experience as a Charge‐Up Operator in underground mining
n
- Strong understanding of production and development charging practices
n
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and high performance
