Various, highly established home building companies in Brisbane due to growth are recruiting for Site Supervisors across multiple locations in Brisbane at the moment building the following home building project types:

n

- Volume Detached Home Builders
n
- KDRB Home Builders
n
- Medium-Density Townhouse Builders
n
- Custom Home Builders
n
- High-End Luxury Home Builders
n

Locations and vacancies available now across all the above project types include:

n
- Northern Suburbs
n
- Western Suburbs
n
- Southern Suburbs
n

Key Responsibilities of the Role

n
- Manage a number of new home builds in construction concurrently within the respective type of home build projects listed above
n
- Up to 12-15 houses in construction at any one time on average
n
- Combination of single and double-story homes
n
- Allocate materials and trades to job sites.
n
- Ensure timely construction of new homes within budget
n
- Effectively communicate with clients, trades and management in a qualified manner.
n
- Construction of new homes are carried out safely and comply with company processes and procedures.
n
- Inspecting completed projects to ensure a high standard of quality
n
- Maintaining and updating company systems (ClickHome, OnSite Companion, similar software systems)
n
- Reporting to management regarding onsite activity
n
- Negotiating with subcontractors and coordinating onsite works
n
- Identifying and resolving problems throughout the construction process.
n





Role Requirements

n
- At least 3-4 years experience as a Construction Site Supervisor within the volume home building industry.
n
- Tertiary qualifications within building and construction
n
- Trade background will be highly advantageous
n
- Demonstrated experience within the construction sector with excellent building knowledge
n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment and ability to meet deadlines.
n
- Excellent attention to detail
n
- Solid communication skills both written and verbal
n
- Ability to build a strong rapport with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
n
- Proven track record of problem-solving
n
- Team player
n
- Excellent IT skills and computer literacy with construction-specific software packages.
n
- Commitment to WHS principles and practices
n
