About the role

Lighthouse Christian College is seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic and reliable individuals interested in joining our team as aCasual Canteen Assistant.

What you'll be doing

n

This role involves assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages, including coffee preparation, processing orders, maintaining a clean and safe canteen environment, and providing friendly service to our students, staff, and families.

n

Skills & Experience

n

- A currentWorking with Children Check (WWCC) (mandatory)
n
- Barista skills and experience preparing coffee beverages (desirable)
n
- A current Food Handling Certificate (mandatory)
n
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
n
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy team environment
n
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
n

An appreciation for and willingness to support the Christian ethos and values of the College
n Previous experience in a school canteen, hospitality, café,



or food service workplace will be highly regarded.
