Evolution Electrical is a family-owned electrical contracting business that has been wiring Melbourne homes for more than 15 years. From our head office in Hillside and branches in Craigieburn and Dandenong South, we carry every job end to end, from underground mains and excavation through to fit-off and final connection, a capability most contractors hand to someone else.

We were named Professional Trade of the Year by Victoria's largest residential builder, and we are proudest of how we develop our own people. We train apprentices across every year level, and this traineeship extends the same investment to the office that keeps it all running.

About the Role

This is a genuine entry-level traineeship based in our Hillside head office. You will work alongside an experienced administration team, learn electrical administration from the ground up, and complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business while you earn. All course fees are paid by Evolution Electrical, and paid study time is built into your working week.

Key Responsibilities

- Answer phone calls, emails and builder enquiries
- Prepare and process job documentation, stock orders and invoicing
- Order materials and liaise with suppliers on pricing,



availability and deliveries
- Support supervisors and electricians with administrative and stock requirements
- Keep job records, filing and compliance paperwork accurate and up to date

What You'll Bring

- No administration experience is required. We are looking for someone ready to learn who brings the right attitude from day one.
- Tech savvy and confident with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Transparent, friendly communication in person and on the phone
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Well organised and able to juggle competing priorities
- A genuine willingness to learn and grow with the business
