Following an internal promotion, we are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Payroll Officer to join our Finance team based in Silverwater.

About the Role

This role plays a critical part in maintaining payroll accuracy, compliance and employee trust across multiple entities within the Group.

n

You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll delivery, ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time, while supporting statutory reporting and award interpretation requirements.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- End-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll across Group entities
n
- Preparation and reconciliation of PAYG, superannuation and payroll tax reporting
n
- Managing employee payroll enquiries with professionalism and accuracy
n
- Processing terminations, adjustments and maintaining data integrity
n
- Interpretation and application of relevant awards and agreements
n
- Supporting audit, compliance and reporting activities
n
- Contributing to continuous improvement of payroll processes and controls
n

What You'll Bring

- Demonstrated payroll experience in a medium-to-large organisation
n
- Strong understanding of payroll compliance obligations and reporting
n
- Exceptional accuracy, discretion and attention to detail
n
- Experience using UKG/Kronos and Payroll Metrics (highly regarded)
n
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines independently
n
- A cooperative mindset and professional accountability
