Information and Records Management Officer
Are you looking for a role that will give you both ownership of tasks as well as collaboration with your team on larger projects? An APS5 Information and Records Management Officer will be supporting the acquisition and sustainment of guided weapons and explosive ordnance used by the Australian Defence Force.
You will need to rapidly drive solutions and prioritise workloads in direct consultation with our wide customer base. Plan, implement and review information and records management provisions, and possess an understanding of technical publications, records management or editing/publishing.
You will have experience in the administration of information and records management within a regulatory framework and well developed experience in Microsoft and Adobe applications. You will analyse, plan, review and adjust priorities to meet outcomes and undertake objective, systematic analysis and draw accurate conclusions based on evidence providing detailed technical, operational, professional and procedural advice in relation to complex activities.
About our Team
The Technical Publications Team is an integral part of the Technical Data Unit (TDU) within the Directorate of Engineering in the Guided Weapons Explosive Ordnance Group (GWEO). The Engineering mission is to assure, and assist in ensuring the safety and reliability of explosive materiel.
The Directorate of Engineering is fast-paced and outcome driven in support of the acquisition and sustainment of guided weapons and explosive ordnance used the Australia Defence Force. The team works with a variety of systems across multiple classifications within regulatory and engineering processes that support capability life-cycle and safety and suitability for service.
Technical Publications is a small team that works in a multi-disciplinary environment of military, APS and contractor stakeholders delivering timely solutions and advice surrounding publications and information and records management issues. Team members require solid problems solving skills and an exceptional level of attention to detail.
