We're partnering with an established civil contractor delivering a strong pipeline of road and infrastructure projects throughout the Cairns region.

n

This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of your projects, work closely with experienced delivery leaders and continue building towards Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager responsibilities.

The role

n

Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you'll help manage projects from planning through to completion.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Coordinating day-to-day engineering and construction activities
n
- Planning,



programming and monitoring project progress
n
- Managing subcontractors, suppliers and procurement
n
- Cost tracking, forecasting and reporting
n
- Preparing and maintaining QA documentation
n
- Resolving technical and site-based issues
n
- Supporting safety, environmental and quality requirements
n
- Liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
n
- Helping ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
n

About you

n

You'll ideally have:

n

n
- A recognised Civil Engineering degree
n
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer within civil construction
n
- Experience across roadworks, drainage, earthworks, structures or general civil infrastructure
n
- Strong commercial, planning and problem-solving capabilities
n
- Confidence managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities
n
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- TMR project experience will be highly regarded but is not essential
n
