We are hiring experienced Light Vehicle Mechanics for a reputed automotive company in Australia. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining light vehicles, including petrol and diesel engines. Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
n

- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical components of light vehicles.
n
- Perform routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and scheduled repairs.
n
- Dismantle and reassemble engines, transmissions, braking, steering, and suspension systems.
n
- Conduct diagnostic testing and interpret fault codes using diagnostic equipment.
n
- Repair and replace defective vehicle parts as per manufacturer specifications.
n
- Carry out wheel alignments, wheel balancing, and tyre replacements.
n
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
n
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
n
- Collaborate with workshop teams to ensure smooth operations.
n

Salary: AUD 76,515 per annum + Superannuation

Requirements
n
n
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification.
n
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic.
n
- Valid driving licence.
n
- Experience working with both petrol and diesel vehicles.
n
- Knowledge of 4WD vehicles and multiple brands such as Toyota, Ford, Nissan, Mitsubishi, and Isuzu.
n
- Solid diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
n
- Proficiency in using workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and automotive software.
n
- Good communication and customer service skills.
