Our Water Quality Team plays a vital role in ensuring safe, reliable drinking water across the Kimberley, and we're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Water Sampler to join our small, highly skilled team.

About the role

n

Reporting to the Water Quality Supervisor, you'll be responsible for collecting water samples from potable water, wastewater and raw water systems across remote Kimberley communities.

n

You'll prepare samples for laboratory testing, maintain accurate records, and assist with maintaining safe drinking water systems in accordance with the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines.

n

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys field work, values attention to detail, and thrives working both independently and as part of a small team.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Collect potable water, wastewater and raw water samples
n
- Prepare sample bottles, labels and documentation
n
- Prepare samples for transport to accredited laboratories
n
- Record sampling data accurately
n
- Assist with re-sampling and remediation activities where required
n




- Operate safely while travelling throughout remote communities
n
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of water quality across the Kimberley
n
- Assist in water treatment infrastructure asset repair and maintenance
n

- A current C Class Driver's Licence

Experience isn't essential, but we would love to hear from you if you have:

- Water sampling experience
n
- Field testing experience
n
- Water Corporation training in:n n
- Introduction to Drinking Water Quality

- Drinking Water Sampling

- Field Instruments

- First Aid Certificate
n
- Chlorine Awareness Training

- Experience travelling on remote unsealed roads
n
- Some trade background / experience
n
- Any water industry experience
n
